or an active soldier and said, "Thank You!" They truly deserve it! Please try it. It makes you feel so wonderful. I talked to a great WWII vet and his daughter in McDonald's a few weeks ago. He was an angel! Sometimes you feel weird striking up a conversation with a complete stranger, but all you really have to say is, "Thank you!" and 
your heart will say the rest. They will understand. You might even get a hug!!!!
